Next Patch - Gun Recoil?

I just read this in another post. Some guy reckons the next update should have some degree of gun recoils and accuracy V movement.
Obviously the aim of this is to be realistic...but if this game were realistic we wouldn't be fighting aliens in outerspace...
What do you guys think?
P.S. I'm looking to join an Australian Clan. If you are recruting chuck as a mail

If I wanted realism I would go outside and eat a plant.
realism really would suck in a game like this, its supposed to be fun immersive, adding as much realism as possible often detracts from these characteristics.

I would hate to have marines even MORE prone to camping, as it is now, we need to give the marines aimbots! it seems every marine strategy is like : OMG BUILD 102392139021 TURRETS IN TEH MAIn BASE! OMFG TEHY HAVE 3 HIVES! ALIENS ARE OVARPOWEURD!!

yeah, i played as marine (for the first time in a LONG time! gooo skulks!), and i was like "WTF! i can't see a thing!" that muzzle flash is INSANE. i'm surprised humans can hit ANYTHING.

i say if they ever want to implement "moving hurts accuracy" then they should make the view sway instead of having the randomization increase when we move. this is the reason i hate CS and stopped playing it. NS better not use CS's stupid retarded aim system or i will be mad <!--emo&:angry:--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='mad.gif'><!--endemo--> and stop playing.
It's a machinegun, that's the point.

in American Army the amount of spread depends on the player's skill. in NS the spread is the same for everyone regardless of skill.

The fact is, things like this would add NOTHING to the gameplay. It would only serve to make things more difficult, and, more importantly, more irritating for both sides. This is not a realism mod, there is nothing realistic about it, and it doesn't need realism to be fun. Far be it from me to speak for a dev, but I am almost positive that "realistic" gun effects will never make it into NS.
That'd be awesome, of course they would have to add a visor model... Hey it the load screen the marines have a red visor over thier eyes. don't they?
No, it isn't at all. It's somewhat realistic, but there is an Unreal mod that is devoted to being realistic.
And yes, please add goggles for the welder, that light is insane!
And if recoil was ever added, you had BETTER up the damage of the guns.
And the only thing that gives them some sort of chance at killing an alein is the fact they can do a full burst at what ever is eating them.
About the only thing they would hit is a onos and well.. they don't stand a chance even if they do hit that bad buffalo.
