(im surprised noone has topiced it yet)

I like the new hidden places for ambushing.

Why didnt you make 2 stairs to the cc in marine start (as in leave the old one and add the new one)?

Edit- (ooh, dang. i just realised that there was already a topic in general discussions. if the admins want to close it then, be my guest)

No need to close this one , this forum is for beta discussion after all.

Yay for the removed MS doors , so now the uber NS roxors can bunnyhop freely and end the game in 10 seconds.

And what was wrong with the Triad pipes ? They provided needed cover for the skulks , and could be jumped over easily...

Actually the pipes gave advantages to marines more than skulks

yeah and the ms doors were better base defense than any amount of res could buy.

I dunno, CC blocking works better.

If memory serves the pipes were removed for some "mapping" reason not due to a perceived advantage..

Here's what I want to know. If an observatory was placed in the area of a cloaked alien, can the commander target the enemy? And what about scanner sweep? Would the commander be able to temporarily target the enemy until the cloaking kicks in again for the alien? Or is targetting impossible altogether as the alien has cloaking?

(Random thought: Marine spawn seems more dangerous now with lerks firing spore clouds from their usual spot and fades doing fly-bys more easily with the doors gone.)

those pipes were so **** tryint o ambush as a skulk behind them, snipe right thru with an lmg

the freaking doors, how many times have htey refused to open to my fade blinkin into them then standin there...i litereally stood under them lookin up like it was a supermarket or something, waved my hands at the thing and everything...uber thx for removing those

but CC blocking will always be there, to block a fade tho you havta be fast and drop it right in front of them, other wise crouch blink ftw

Yeah, but the end justifies the means.

... Ok that made no sense, but you get it, I hope.
