Skulks Unable To Attack Command Chairs?

I'm sorry, but the search function doesn't seem to be working at the moment, and this is really bugging me.

I've been in two games so far where I've been a skulk, and mid-match, charged into the marines start and ran to the command chair and started attacking it. I was there for at least 15 to 20 seconds attacking it, and I did not see the life of the chair lower at all.

This was a tactic that I would do fairly often (assualting the chiar by my self), as it seemed most of the times I've done this, they forget to repair the chair and I can eventualy take it down.

If someone can please tell me if this is a server-side option, a glitch, something new added in the latest patch, or something else, I would be most grateful. Thank you.

    A command ceter is very strong, it will die if you are biting it. Health may take a long time to go down though, it's not meant to die easily <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    well, the thing is, that after 20 seconds of nearly constant attacking (I waited 2 seconds twice for more energy) the circle hadn't even gone down a notch. I'm sure that I've done the same thing before, and gotten at elast some visable results. maybe it's just me imagining things in the middle of a game.

    yeah it also takes quite long with a onos! maybe you should just leave it to them to take out the commande console!

    Yesterday or the other one I was a skulk, ran twice to the console and managed to damage it down to 1-2 red dots before the marines started to defend it better. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I nibbled on a command center long enough to get it into the red, before the idiot marine team took heed to the yelling of the commander "OMG THE SKUL IS EATING MY CHAIR HELP!!!!!"

    It literally takes about 2 minutes of constant biting to get one of those down as a lone skul.

    CCs have 10k hp I believe, and skul bites do 70 damage.

    skulks can take out the CC if ur not looking, like yesterday i played on the map (cant remember the names yet), where u have to take a small elevator up to get to CC, and the same guy playing skulk kept coming for the CC, well he destroyed it eventually, and i had to get out from the CC twice to kill him, but he still brought it down the 3 time he came <!--emo&:angry:--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='mad.gif'><!--endemo-->

    i think there may be a bug sometimes with buildings coz just now in a game there was an alien resource collector that was pounded by 2 siege cannons for a couple minutes and was at full health. i think not even guns or grenades were working on it either coz i faintly recall someone saying something like "screw this! commander, recycle those siege cannons so we can go in with knives". freindly fire was on btw. also there was another part where i think 2 or 3 guys with grenade launchers were pounding some alien buildings in a hallway round this corner and it was taking ages. in the end i think someone just went in with a machine gun and destroyed them. we ended up winning but it bothers me when these kind of invincibility bugs happen.

    I think that sometimes the building health meter doesnt update properly.. an annoying skulk was constantly charging our CC.. When i kelled the skulk i saw that the CC was still at full health... ok.. dont need to pesster the commander about a welder just yet... cople of skulkraids later the CC was still at full health.. One heck of a sturdy CC, methinks.. Then, the next time the skulk is up there.. Poof.. No more CC...

    Naturally i blame the commander... couldnt possibly have been my gullible arses fault?

    Also, the armoury usually shows zero health after youve reaserched with it...

    Keep in mind, that the CC has an a$$-load of armor (like 10000 or something). That bar is only the "health" of the CC. So when you're a Skulk attacking it, you have to eat away the armor first, then the bar will start to decrease. And as a marine, just because the bar is full, doesn't mean the CC is at 100%.

    the invincible alien building bug is due to tons of defence chambers all around, there not supposed to stack after 3, but they do anyway.
