How Do Alien Resources Work?

<div class="IPBDescription">Upgrade to onos...stay at 100...?</div> Okay, why does this happen? I'll be at 100/100 resources, and then I upgrade to onos. It pops down to 30 resources, and then immediately scrolls back up to 100. Usually only happens when we're horribly winning, of course, but...why?

Is it because your resource-max can actually go past 100? Or do excess resources harvested pile up in the hives or something, and then get piled on to players that can use them? Or do you gain resources from your teammates if they're full and gaining resources?

    i know what ur talking about. but i just accept it and play. if ns wants to give mt 70 resource point for nothing, then i really dont chare how or why its done.

    If you hit the limit of your resource points, the excess goes to your other teammates who doesn't have max resource points yet.

    An exploit that can be abused within the 1st 5-10 minutes of the game :

    As a Skulk, when you died, press F4 and rejoin the team, the resources you are carrying will go to the rest of your team, while the Gorge gets a chunk of out it, enabling them to capture resource nodes a hell lot faster.

    Except this exploit to be fixed in future patches.

    Apparently some servers have altered the resourcse such taht sometimes teams gain a great excess. AFAIK that is what causes this to happen.
