ok im trying to install the patch but when i do i get a ms dos 16 bit illegal error.
now NS was installed problerly for the pervious ones but now it seems the patchdosnt want to install and i think its cuz of the crap hack job of the patch in the first place and for the other is because windows xp sp2 still blows junks
does anyone know how to fix this so i can install this bloody patch or what? see you really can play unless you have beta 4a so why dosnt the ns crew just make a bloody working full beta 4a installer

    Beat it in to submission untill it wants to installl

    or, yah could just give us some informations about what isn't working.

    oh, and wrong forum, step on over to Tech Help.
    And to answer your question as to why it is a patch:
    3.0 <b>BETA</b> 4a installer
    yes, 3.0 is a beta, you don't want to deal with patches and betas? Then go play 2.0 <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Windows XP SP2 was delayed (but still pushed through auto-update, for whatever reason), because the patch clashed with hundreds of programs, including major ones like Microsoft Office, or anythign written in .NET language.

    If you have SP2 installed, try to roll back to an earlier version until this all is resolved. If I could petition for a sticky on this thread, I would.

    If you want to uninstall SP2, see the article here: <a href='http://www.winxpnews.com/?id=139' target='_blank'>WinXPNews.com</a>
