<div class="IPBDescription">help</div> I downloaded all three required files, 3.0 beta 1, 3.0 beta 4 patch, and beta 4a patch. It shows up on my thirdparty games on steam. Up to this point nothing is wrong, until I try and join a server. It will connect and do all the necessary things to get into a server. It gets to the starting point of the map but server info, ect. doesnt pop up, Then it just quits the game and takes me back to desktop. Anybody else have this problem? or knows how to fix it plz help me.

    As for your ns problem, you should probably try re-installing.

    Ok i reinstalled, then tryed to join game, came up downloaded all the resources. This time it went into the game and froze at the screen you start at. No sound movement nothing. I don't know what culd b the problem...but i had to ctrl+alt+delete to get out of it....what should i do?

    Your joining an internet server right?
    Make sure the server your playing on is using an official ns map.
    Also make sure your half-life is Installed correctly w/ STEAM.


    Another thing: Can you create your own LAN server and play fine? Are you using anything w/ metamod/ and or AMX mod? Internet connection?
