.net Framework Initialization Error

in Mapping Help and Troubleshooting
<div class="IPBDescription">Please set registry...</div> Just got started mapping. Installed everythin, setup Hammer. The first time I open up the batch compiler i get a mscoree.dll error. So I fix that, then I try running it again and:

".NET Framework Initialization Error
Please set registry key HKLM\Software\Microsoft\.NETFramework\InstallRoot to point to the .NET Framework install location"

I googled the error and came up with all kinds of .NETFramework errors. Any ideas? I sure hope its just something easy I missed. spanks
