<div class="IPBDescription">If you want to call it that.</div> Well, i've finally decided that I want to start making signatures for people. I think I have a decent amount of skill in said area.

If you want one, just send me a PM with links to any pictures you want included, any text, and the preferred size of the signature.

Example:

    Didn't really think about putting it in the artwork forum, since this isnt so much as showing off what I can do, but offering my services. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    I use photoshop mostly, by the way.

    *edit* Please send requests via PM!!!

    I just love seeing threads get sent to dead forums. Nobody ever comes here...

    You are very very wrong. There is life outside the off-topic forum you know <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->.

    You should make some more Boondock Saints ones, that one is pretty atmospheric and characterizing, I like it <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->.

    So that's why it should be posted in the wrong forum? Wrong, people DO come here, you just need to be more patient.

    This forum is like the collaborations(sp?) forum. A few people now and then, I put it in a high-traffic area for a reason.

    Anyway, lets drop the low-traffic discussion and get back onto the general topic of the thread.

    Also, I whipped up this new background for a signature, if anyone is interested in having it turned into their sig, let me know.

    Just another example using the above template I made. I just thought JezPuh looked so cool like that. If you like it, JezPuh, feel free to use it.

    *edit* I just noticed how the text is kind of unreadable, might go back and darken it. It currently says "A mighty flame followeth a tiny spark..." A quote from The Inferno, by Dante Alighieri

    The texture overlay on that is far too blatant. Also, maybe turn down the contrast a tad, the red doesn't work so well.

    I think i'm blind, I can't read anything on your signatures except "JezPuh" <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    They look pretty decent, keep at it and I know you'll get better.

    i want a sig <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> please i dont care how it is <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
  • PerditionPerdition Join Date: 2004-07-02 Member: 29692Members
    yeah, i know the texture overlay is very obvious. but i spent a good...five minutes on that template. if someone wanted an actual signature done with it, i'd put far more work into it. plus i never threw in a shadow, too.

    Not bad, could do with transparency for the white. And the colour/contrast/brightness could be abit darker, or maybe my pc is just too bright.

    Looks like a nice meshy kinda touch. Wouldn't know what to add there, some witty name and comment <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
  • PerditionPerdition Join Date: 2004-07-02 Member: 29692Members
    jpegs dont support transparency so there was none on that one, but on a finished product there would be for sure

    Made to further pimp out my work. And yes, I do realise it looks a bit pixelated here and there...nothing a bit of work cant fix.
