Ns 3.0 B4a Crashes To Desktop

I just recently bought the HL Plat Pack and I seem to be having some problems with NS 3.0 b4a. I bought it home, installed it, registered the cd key on steam and installed NS 3.0 b4a. I got it working the first time and was able to join a server and play, however after that I started having problems. Whenever, I try to start up NS 3.0 b4a it always crashes back to the desktop. To be specific it crashes back to the desktop right when the NS menu loads. I already tried searching the tech thread for a solution but I haven't found one or there is one and I could not find it.

Ahaha, I found the problem. It seems like Steam or NS 3.0 b4a doesn't like me using a outdated Cheating Death.

In fact it's older cheating death versions that don't like Steam updates.
