I've been told that people are saying removing your muzzleflash sprites or changing them to make them invisible is an "ok" thing to do.

This is just to let you know that this is exploiting, and we are currently working on measures to prevent this type of exploit.

    good, I have always though removing muzzle flashes, or making more/less visible models was pathetic, I just hope this doesn't interfere with the cel-shaded muzzle flash <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    it doesnt matter if the sprite itself is there, its the fact that is it actually ON the model.

    as long as it provides some sort of view obstruction i think its alright...
    little tiny ones that get covered up by your gun are bad

    just think reasonably for a gun....you should be alright <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
