Custom Game Not Found...

<div class="IPBDescription">Whenever I join a server</div> Whenever I go and click on a NS game, it says connecting to server...
But then it says
"You can not connect to NS until you install custom game"

I thought maybe it was just that I needed the patch, so I d/led it, unzipped it, then cut and pasted it into NS's main file, which it prompted me with a overwrite same file, and I said yes.

But I still get "Can't connect to Custom game, you must install custom game"

What am I doing wrong? (PS: I'm pretty sure I got the main game, because I got it from the d/l section and in the long lists....)

I get the exact same problem, just tried a re-install of HL and NS, still happens

don't run from the short cut, I'm on CS Retail so this might be different for you HL users, but run from HL, go to net games, Filter whateverthingy NS, and then update, find a nice server without lag, click on it, it should automatically pop to NS and enter the server. Or when you enter HL, click on custum games, click on Natural Selection, click on activate, that should get it up. If you don't see Natural Selection from the list, remember to install it into C:\Program Files\Valve\Counter-Strike\ or in HL C:\Sierra\Half-life\ or whatever folder you're main clients on.

Same thing happened to me,
Open ns click costum game it should have so me three crappy mods u havnt heard about.

Then close ns and oped cs, through cs join an ns server* (SERVER dont go to custom game and then ns before joining a server)

it should work now and also u can run an ns server through ns itself, to check that its now working to to ns and click custom game thers should now be cs tfc etc... that worked 4 me or try runnin ns from start menu and not shortcut
