.cfg Troubleshooting

<div class="IPBDescription">.cfg troubleshooting</div> Hi. First off I want to say I use Steam Half-life for this might be the problem. Anyway, I recently downloaded/installed natural-selection. When I tried to open NS however, I got an error that reads "STEAM VFS failed to initialize: SteamStratup() failed, error 1 (Failed to open config file SteamDebugAppLaunch.cfg)". Anyone have any ideas on what this is and/or how to fix it? I run hl and cs on steam fine but for some reason this just isn't working. Well plz respond if you know what's wrong.     change the shortcut from
    c:\steam\steamcache\half-life\hl.exe -game ns <etcetc>

    to

    C:\steam\steam.exe 0 0 -game ns <etcetc>
