<div class="IPBDescription">Any ideas of what i should try?</div> Well i have this bug in NS that makes me get loads of lag spikes, i made a thread about it helo there if you can.

But right now i have nothing to di since i only have HL and Diablo2 "legally" so what other mods then cs, dod and ns could you recommend?

    They hunger, Redemption, Conundrum, SSDarkstar (Or something, I can'r remember the title), Riot in Progress, Point Of View, Poke646, Heart of Evil, Black Thunder, and of course Halfquake Amen.

    All awesome single player mods, most of which I have beaten.

    The lag bugs, they are steam orrientated. They should be fixed now as I had them, they went after the last steam update

    Science and Industry only has like 1 or 2 full servers to play on...but the game itself is top notch if you ask me, only thing I like better is NS.

    Specialists is good if you like that kind of action movie stunt stuff...the maps SUCK really bad though, except one of them which is of exceptional quality...some kind of church.

    Sven Coop is a lot of fun, it's got a very good music player built in (spiffy gui and all) and it's a lot of fun to play because you're with 10-20 other people and you work together to beat custom singleplayer maps. Lots of players to play with too.

    The Battlegrounds had such a cool concept (Revolutionary warfare) but the visuals are absolutely the ugliest thing I've ever seen in an HL mod. It also doesn't have many players and is pretty boring. You get one rifle, single shot, long reload, a single shot pistol with long reload, and a poorly animated/ugly melee weapon and then you just rambo by yourself and capture points on the maps...really a mediocre mod.

    That's about all I can think of, S&I is probably my favorite, then Sven Coop, Specialists, and finally Battlegrounds.

    Guess you havent seen FinnWars 0.5 beta for BF1942... Now they sucked hard.

    Most of good mods are already listed but ill do a list too.

    - Front line Force (seems nice, only few servers though)
    - Hostile Intent

    Look at steam game stats. See which ones have at least 80 people. Look at the site and see. Also try Digital paint ball. It's fun for awhile but your really doing nothing but clicking and running around. At least it has around 100-300 players playing.

    Hmm it seems ns player count doubled and alot more players are playing other mods now. Also CS:CZ just have about half of the 20-30k players playing now.

    The lag spikes could be due to having a low rate, type "rate 3000" in console. That's what happened to me.
