    You convert scenes from demos to .bmps, then make them to a .avi with a program that i dont remember what its called, and I dont remember what the command is either. GG me.

    Anyway, my point is that you cant edit a .dem file

    for basic videos, this should work:
    while whatching a demo, type "startmovie name 25". that will generate 25 bmps per second. You can use VirtualDub (opensource) to put these bmps to avis. After you have captured the scenes you want, use a video editing program to cut the video (vegas, ulead media studio, adobe premiere are the most famous.
