<div class="IPBDescription">And issues with it.</div> I'm giving Firefox a try and so far things have been fairly smooth. But I have run into a few problems.

1. I can't log into the constellation forum, I entire the password and it's correct, but regardless, it always asks for verification with Firefox, but not IE. Anyone have a solution.

2. Tabs, I have started to use them with much glee, but want to know if there is a key shortcut to switch between them.

3. I sometimes use the Yahoo! radio station they have, but it doesn't work with Firefox. Anyone know why?

The only problem I have with Firefox is that my mother found my shortcut, and if she starts using it I'll have to clear my history at least 3 times a day. >:|

    1) never heard of that problem, myself....care to elaborate a bit?

    2) Get the tabbrowser extensions (hit up google for it) for a start. One of the better plugins you'll find. Use ctrl+<number key> to switch between tabs. Not found a shortcut to go to next tab, but i've only been trying for the past few seconds.

3)Maybe a missing plugin? Never used Yahoo! radio so I'm not sure how it works.

    1. When I go to log into the constellation forums, it asks for the password. So I type in the password, it tells me the password is correct and is sending me to the forums. But it sends me right back to the password prompt, and if I try the link to skip to it, same problem. I just can't get in with Firefox.

    2. Cool, I'll give it a try. I like Firefox for that features, saves space.

    3. Downloaded the plug-in for it, it just doesn't work, gives an error message. Of course, the radio pops up in a pop-up window so that may be the problem..

You can swicth between tabs by pressing CTRL+TAB

    And you don't even need plugins <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

That's just odd. It's either not setting the cookie properly, or is just mishandling the redirect code. Try clearing your cookies and your cache, see if that fixes it.

Though I do feel your pain on isues like this. There's a forum I go to that can NEVER keep me logged in between sessions (It's another invision board) but every OTHER one I go to I have no problem with...it's mindboggling.

    2. Ctrl + Tab skips to the next tab. I didn't know about Ctrl + <number> before.
Edit: RaVe beat me to it.

    3. If the problem is the popup window, then you should be able to set it to allow that site to open popups. You can always turn off the Block Popup Windows feature to find out if that's the problem (before working on fixing it).

hm, the middle mouse button launches a new tab automatically, and it can be used to close one as well. in case you didn't already know that.

    1. In Tools>Options>Privacy>Cookies, set the Natural Selection site to "Allow". See if that works.

    3. Yahoo! radio stations are coded for Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator. Try using the User Agent Switcher Extension (click Tools>Extensions>Get New Extensions to find the list).

List ns.org in the box of places to not block popups from. It's not like they're dropping ads on you anyway.

CTRL+SHIFT+TAB shifts the tab to the left, btw.

If you download plugins for Firefox, make sure they're for the right version. Some 8 plugins don't work in 9, and vice-versa.

Oh and download the "Smoke" theme, it is just great <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

speaking of plugins, grab the easyGestures plugin, it makes browsing so much easier. quicknotes isn't bad either.

    Yeah quicknotes is great.

Another way to go right/left on the tabs is Ctrl+Page Down for right and Ctrl+Page Up for left.

I it does turn out to be a pop-up blocking issue, turn pop-up blocking back on, then on the yahoo radio site, click on the little icon in the bottom right of you're browser window. Somwhere in there you can set it to allow only that page to display pop-ups.

Tools->options->web features->add site? You should definately leave it on for non-whitelisted sites.
