<div class="IPBDescription">Nowmy favourite game(and some suggestion</div> This game is amazing I love it, it was recommended from a friend and it is so cool... anyway from what i have played I would like to add some suggestions
Maps:
The maps feel great and look amazing with great layout too (i have only played around 4) 2 extesivly.. but I have found that on them there are no real key features no areas of recognizable disctiction, no centre areas or nice open halls. Now this is a good thing but I would love to see some maps with tottaly different designs eg: balconies sorounding a vehicle depot on the inside where u could shoot down (or whatever just an idea <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> just some recognizable and cool areas
I would like the idea of alien bugs that just randomly appear on maps, that could be killed <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
Weapons
1. I would really love to see for both sides a mine like weapon. For marines it could be a trip mine like Half-Life (the laser ones) which would be very expensive as to not lay the things en-mass (maybe even a limit on how many) and for
aliens maybe something like a toxic injestion that one of the alien types vomits up and if stood in injures a marine (not a alien though). (possible a different approch to this could be taken where the laser trip mine thingies or slim trap things are actually built and not layed as a weapon)
2. I find the aliens assortment of weapons very limited and all very similar. How about some sort of shockwaves, plasm and/or electric bolts obviosly nothing too extreme but something
Bugs
Im tottaly aware its like first beta or whatever and these probably been mentioned but here we go
1: Fall damage doesnt effect marines and sometimes not even aliens
2. The gorge can get stuck inside its buildings if u are too close before u begin building them
3. The graphics for a climbing alien looks silly (eg if its on ceiling it looks as if its back is stuck to the ceiling) uses same graphics as on ground
4. When climbing as a alien it is awkward and often just annoying to try and control. (i think there should be a button you have to press in order to be able to climb and u would stick and not let go unless u jumped or pressed the climb button again) also you could just hold down a button to be able to climb.
P.S. will water ever be included in any of the maps

The alien weapons seem pretty different to me...
Bite, charge, heal, direct projectiles(Spikegun, spitgun, acid rocket), leap, teleport(blink), self destruct(xenocide), artillery(bile bomb), webs, summoning skulks(babblers), umbra, gas... few of these weapons are the same, and the only one that appears on more than one alien is bite.
As for the maps, once you learn them it's pretty easy to find your way around. Remember most of these places are space stations, gunmetal grey walls are order of the day.
Fall damage: Seems to work fine on mine... and the only alien I know that doesn't get it is a skulk, with it being so small and all.
Stuck in buildings: Yeah really needs to be fixed.. no idea how they'll go about it though, for now try to move backwards as you place stuff, works for me.
Graphics: I'm not sure if rotating the alien model to look right is possible in the hl engine :/
The climbing thing I agree with, apparently there was supposed to be a key to hold on to walls... came up in the popup tips... but doesn't actually work.
annnnd lastly, theres already water in at least one map, hera I think? the one with the hive named "feedwater control" try using it to get there theres a high chance of you dying though, unless you're healed or a fast alien.

There ARE a couple of (relatively) big open areas in each map, don't know what you're talking about here.

Marines, like most people that play NS know, have tripmines. Aliens also have their own form of mines too, webs.

Aliens have plenty of abilities like kalias mentioned. And the types of attacks you mention aren't much different from the current alien attacks except in name and graphic. A shockwave would be like the effect of xenocide. Electric bolts would be like spikes. Plasma would be like acid rockets (I think).

1. Fall damage is definitely in the game, maybe the server you were in had no fall damage.
2. This is actually a valid point. If a gorge builds on himself or someone else, he or they will get stuck inside, very frustrating. Blinking into buildings or players also gets you stuck occasionally. I hope they'll fix this or make some kind reset feature.
3. This has been answered many times by dev's and pt's; It's not that big of a deal, it doesn't look so bad, and it doesn't effect gameplay. Eventually if they can the dev's will make the skulk align with the surface he's climbing on.
4. I think the climbing system is great. Takes a little getting used to, but it's very effective. There is a little bit of awkwardness when climbing over bumps in the wall/ceiling, and changing surfaces (like climbing onto the top part of a catwalk while on the bottom), but I don't see how holding a button would help this.
Oh, and water <b>IS</b> in the game.
