    Yours seems to be the same problem as mine, have you recently updated your router? If so I'll give you the link to what I believe is the fix.

    no, actualy making your second post compleatly useless is spamming

    he simply didn't now to use the edit button.

    soooooo, bugger off <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Frogy:
    simple go to linksys' website and get the latest firmware/drivers <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    oh, and copy down the info forom your ISP as this will wipe all of that from the router.

    ie: Get the DNS server and such, or get the telephone number and password <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    I don't know what linksys model your using, but some of the newer firmware updates have problems. I use Linksys BESFR41 and the 1.45.7 fireware without an issue. Here is the link for more info:

    <a href='http://steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=101151' target='_blank'>http://steampowered.com/forums/showthread....threadid=101151</a>

    Also with your limited resources make sure there are no other programs running that aren't needed. This is a nice site to fine tune system:

    Frog:
    did you remember to put in your connection information after upgrading your firmware?

    Here is the manual, you may have to contact your ISP to get info, or it maybe on your install paperwork.

    <a href='ftp://ftp.linksys.com/pub/manuals/befsru31_ug.pdf' target='_blank'>ftp://ftp.linksys.com/pub/manuals/befsru31_ug.pdf</a>

    They do have a 24 hour tech support line (800) 326-7114.

    To access your router, type 192.168.1.1 in Internet Explorere Address. Leave Username blank and the default password is Admin. That will get you to the setup and config of your router.
