Looking For Competitive Play

<div class="IPBDescription">Without Clans</div> Hey all. I recently redownloaded NS - it's really a great game. Now, I'm a pretty good player (in pubs), and I can get frustrated at the apparent lack of teamplay in public games. Granted, there's a lot more than most mods out there - the majority of pubbers in NS do what they're told and try to stick together. Still, I'd like to play more competitive games - where all the players are well-versed with the map, are excellent team players, and use communication well (mic is good) too help the team.

The first thing that comes to mind for me is to join a clan, but I'm not interested in being that dedicated to the game now. What I am interested in, though, is competitive gaming.

Anyone know where I can go/who to talk with to find what I'm looking for?

    What they said. NSPUG is Natural-Selectoin Pick Up Game. Where 12 people get in a server, two captains pick teams, then it's played like a normal NS Scrim. 1 team goes marines first round, other goes alien, then they switch. Whichever team wins both rounds wins. If they tie... then its a tie.

    ... if you're also lookin for a place to be a regular at, try out the lunixmonster... go to lunixmonster.org/forums for all the info you need...

    it's a great community, and everyone there is really nice. and pretty much everyone knows how to play the game well, so you'll be challenged. if you are good enough at the game and if everyone likes you, you'll prolly get a reserved slot too.
