<div class="IPBDescription">how in the..</div> Ive been commanding competitivly and publically for a while now, but it has eluded me as exactly how to make lifts, and doors open as a commander. what is the key/command combo to get a lift to move or a door to open?

    Excuse my ignorance, but is this a joke? I never knew you could open doors and move lifts as a commander..........I got to try that some day.

    The usable objects by the comm were at least marked with an icon (haven't noticed that icon in 3.0*). However I believe it's harder to actually hit the right spot to issue it nowadays with the same reason as it's harder to issue an alternative wp.

    I believe that anything that can be used by a player can be activated by the comm.

    Anything that can be operated by a switch can be operated by the comm, even if there are no marines near by. When you double click it, a white cloud particle (one not unlike that in Black and White), can be seen from the chair (but not by the marins iirc)

    This is bugged, some doors don't work. It's reportedly fixed in 3.05 god knows when we'll see that.

    You HAVE to try this once:

    On ns_agora, the rusty elevator thingy near The Wedge? Try to send a couple of marines on it, then click on it so it gets stuck. The only way they can get out is if they boost each other, or if you click on it again of course. Hilarity guaranteed when you have people going "OMG WTH we're stuck who did that"
