Onslaught - Would that be where the rines have 2 minutes to build up defences with say 400 res and after the limit is up they have to survive thousands of skulks charging at them for another 10 minutes or something? If not I want that mode called "Survival"

But IMHO its a good idea to make some funny maps.
At least that is how I can invision a fun game.

Indeed. And maybe a plant the bomb too? And escape..
There really isn't anything you can do with an RTS that Starcraft hasn't already done in at least one of thier UMS. The only other direction we can move is further into FPS style gameplay, but we already have combat, so it's not like more deathmatch is really nessicary. The only thing I can think of is to use combat's level system for RPG style, mission oreinted gameplay... and Starcraft has already done that too...

actually its not half bad...
now that would be kewl, but i rekon it would end up being a like seige fun maps.
How? 2 mins to stick up as many turrets as possible. 5 mins of endless skulks. 1 life per person. FF off.

Marines are dropt into the mission by some dropship and they have to fight there way to the cc. There they need to set up their base and and fortify it, and later recapture certain points of the facility sector by sector.
trigger_team_win: when triggered, team 1 or team 2 wins
weapons_: a weapon that you can pick up (lmg, hmg, sg, gl..)
item_: an item you can pick up (HA, JP..)
team_lives: defines how many lives each player has on what team
team_income: gives a team a rate at which they gain resources
trigger_spawn: changes the location at which players would spawn (this could be used in some kind of territory advancement map where one team gets pushed back and back, some kind of option would have to be added into the team spawns such as a # that would correspond to the trigger_spawn)
team_spawnrate: defines the spawn rate of a team
team_res: defines how much res a team starts with
info_gameplay (change): add an option so that commanders cannot build or drop equipment
info_gameplay (change): add an option defining what level the aliens start at, and the cap (1 hive, 2 hives, 3 hives)
