<div class="IPBDescription">2 questions about lights</div> i wanna know 2 thing about lights
first: i can make a single light for all map?
second: why when i compile not all lights are compiled with map? when i compiled first time the readyroom was lighted and when i puted the others lights the readyroom was dark

    Your "lighted" room was probably full bright, you can use one light for a whole map, but I'm not recomending it (light_spot + tons of windows or view of sky), what type of lighting are you using? Textures that look like lights need their names and values added to the lights.rad file your compiler links to :/

    i puted e entity "light" and when i created only readyroom the room was lighted and after i created some parts of the map the room was dark and not all lights are turning on

    To add an overall light you can add the '-ambient r g b' to the hlrad compile process. rgb being the color you want for it. If you are using the hammer compiler, I recommend you try this one instead, its much easier to add the '-ambient' and its color.
