personally, the devour crosshair for me makes me worse... just practice on stunning and then eating slow moving HA's...
i try getting the players just under the top of the horn if it were in the middle of the screen (if u get what i mean <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo--> ) that usually works... that + the crosshair is slightly off a bit (a weeee bit lower)
I love devour.... the best way to use it is to simply centre the marine on your screen, it may be different depending on what resolution you play in though.
Another thing about devour, it always seems to fail you when you need it the most....

I personally think the devour hitbox has to be fixed because the actual length of the devour bite seems to be much longer when eating people in mid air rather then on the ground, i may be wrong but it seems like it needs some adjustment - i find it really hard to eat people off the ground sometimes coming in from different angles.. <!--emo&::onos::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tiny.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tiny.gif' /><!--endemo-->
<!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo--> aim for their feet
yeah you must aim low with Devour because the Onos is actually quite tall <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->
The think to remember with devour is that the crosshair is dead in the center of your screen. The marine hibox is their chest, the lower chest works better because you won't miss above their head. And if you're under heavy fire, run if you miss the first devour; it isn't worth the risk of dying just to nab the guy.
Good luck, and good eatings. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Aim for a little bit higher than their "family jewels" and you should beable to get them. <!--emo&::nerdy::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/nerd.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='nerd.gif' /><!--endemo-->
I never devour without stomp whoring them first. Yeah... aim below them if their ducking. I can't really say how to normally do it though it's become like... instinct.

aim with with the tip of the horn at the feet, or crouch, also practicing with a willing buddy helps as well <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
I personally don't use devour crosshairs becuase I don't need them, that is how everyone should be with devour with a little practice
