Caring For My Mom...
<div class="IPBDescription">I need some advice or suggestions.</div> My mom isn't well, I know she isn't, she's like that. Not telling me if she is or not even if I ask. She's got a tickly/chesty cough, and sometimes she is cold, but gets high temperature symtoms, like sweating when cold.
I know it might be wrong asking here, but I don't know what to do. And when I know these things it's worrying. That's just me I suppose, but I want to help at least for my mom's sake.

But still, if you don't want a doctor, which would be the best idea, a book or internet could help. Also, you could go to a pharmacy and ask them.
Edit - of course, you could go and buy her some chocolate or a teddy bear or a kitten or some tampons or whatever women find appealing nowadays.
does not in any way require a doctore.
But, as wizards have proven..
Hope my mom gets well soon.
on the other hand, it's fun to let sickness go untreated.
wait, no it isn't.
It wouldn't be worth asking the doctor about proper flu (chance of death - fifty in a million), let alone what this guy described!
"mom, it's just the flu.. you can TAKE IT! BUCK UP, SOLDIER!!"

Depends how old she is, Flu fatality rates in people over 60 are fairly high.

Uhm, am I missing something new? Since when do you take medicine for a flu?
Only 90 year olds on the brink of death get flu shots and stuff like that.
You should take care of everything that needs to be done around the house until tomorrow, when she should be feeling better. She's going to want a big breakfast.
[EDIT] It's also important that she doesn't have ANY alcoholic drinks or any sodas, too.
Wait, are you trying to say that you have been fooling around with Superball's mom, and now she is pregnant with morning sickness? Gross <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
[Unreal announcer] PWNAGE! [/Unreal announcer]
As for your Mum....
yah, tea... with lots of honey (I suggest Celestial Seasonings <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->)
or yah, umm, Dr.
look, we are not medical profesionals (well I am almost one, but thats a different matter <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->)
Its is generaly a bad idea to ask on a forum (or online anywhere) b/c you will get 4 things:
1) People telling yah to go to a Dr.
2) People being silly.
3) People offering you decent home remedy style things.
4) People offering you horribly wrong things that sound good.

Look at the name of the person we quoted. It's Epidemic. Then look at what Epidemic said:<!--QuoteBegin--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->she is the carrier of the next epidemic<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

As a professional, I would tell you not to post such a sensitive topic and in forum like this, because I see from the replies that you have recieved that there isn't much sympathy or empathy. I know that isn't what you wanted to hear, but I'm not going to lie to you.
If you are that concerned, and you and your mom have the same GP, then go see the doctor and explain to him/her about your concerns. Or go the easy route...speak directly with her about her ailement, and your underlying concerns.
I am not a doctor, yet I am a first responder. The only time you should become concerned is if your mother experiences one of the following: dizziness, shortness of breath, fainting, or difficulty breathing. Call your local emergency number or 911.
I will tell you from experience that it better to call in the cavalry then be sorry afterwords. That is what they are there for.
I hope your mother is feeling back to her normal self by the time you read this post. <!--emo&::tsa::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tsa.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tsa.gif' /><!--endemo-->

well i'm sorry to be so blunt but what do you do for a distressingly sick loved one besides call the goddamn doctor??
unless you're a doctor yourself.. that's the only exception i can think of >_>
