give it one go first, as best you can, to get a grip for it. then do your real run. this will eliminate a bit of the learning curve and isolate your typing skillz from mistakes related to the test.

i'm about to do my second one.

106.. i think i used to be better :|

I got 75WPM with no mistakes on my third try, then bombed to 62 with 10 mistakes on my fourth. In my defence, i'm tired, but i still suck.

77 wpm, 3 errors, first try... I type very weirdly -- I touch-type with my left hand and two-finger type with my right... I think it has to do with the fact that most of the time, while gaming or not, my left hand is on keys and my right is on the mouse...

Mine wasn't as good as I'd hoped, but to be honest I think it was because the sentence structure ****ed me off so much I couldn't concentrate. Random commas and semi colons leading onto nonsequital sentances make Hodge somethign something.

That and I haven't had any coffee.

    Oh yeah 96wpm, 21 mistakes ^_^

After a couple of practice runs:

Your score: 496 keys per minute ~ 99 words per minute
    Language/mode: en
    Ranking: Very fast.
Comparison: 5% of registered TyperA users using this language have typed a better result; 95% have a lower or equal result.

You typed: Find out if you are taken to another bar. Living in the complex world of the future is somewhat like having bees live in your head. If I had only known, I would have been a locksmith. What is a compact city? Machines have less problems. I think I'll end it all, Sue sighed. I gained nothing at all from Supreme Enlightenment, and for that very reason it is called Supreme Enlightenment. The spurious Street o; Walls! What you'd say if you had another chance. In specifications, Murphy's Law supersedes Ohm's. In Lexington, Kentucky, it's illegal to carry an ice cream cone in your pocket. Mistakes: o;(o'), personnel(personnel.), justp(just)

    Well done!

As Necrotic said, the sentence structure sometimes throws you off. Nonsequital sentances next to each other doesn't allow for smooth flow, I guess that's the point. I find that I can type long words very quickly as long as it is something fairly common, and something that makes sense. I blasted right through specifications without slowing, but Street o' Walls killed me.

I'll try and break 100... may take some luck though, I hope I don't get a really complex set

    No, it doesn't.

I can play it fine, once. Then I can't play it again for a while (possibly until the browser's been closed for a bit). Clicking on it does not help.

My results are off because I can't really type without looking at my keyboard. Having to look up and down the whole time makes it much much harder. Oh well, I guess there's no way to fix that.

Hate to break it to ya, but your results aren't off. You can't get a fast typing speed without being able to touch-type (type without looking at your fingers). Part of the speed in typing precisely comes from no longer needing to see where your fingers need to go.

On another note, the fastest typist in the world uses a dvorak keyboard. (:
