<div class="IPBDescription">I'm aware that it's old</div> Ok, just over the weekend I found out about this game called <a href='http://www.xgenstudios.com/castle/' target='_blank'>"Defend your castle"</a> and have been playing it with much amusement.
I wanted to post the coolness, and did the search for old threads, finding two. I had never seen these threads before and wanted people to know about the game that hadn't seen those threads either. But seeing as how thread necromancy is taboo, I'm starting a new one. So, yarrrrrr.
The game is fun. Even after you reach the point where it plays itself, it's still kinda fun. You can play it, progress quest, and a game of 3d pong at the same time.

But it's damn fun.
It can get pretty frantic when the big guys start coming aswell.
Maybe double-converts? Like you convert them, train them, and then they turn on you!
"Ahhhhhhh wizards are sending ice storms at me again"
That is the upkeep cost.
Losing units has nothing to do with people making it to your door. It's whether you can afford to pay for your units with money you had from the *previous* round.
It plays on its' own! =)

Right, and it's just my luck I realise this AFTER having lost 10 archers and wizards and effectively the whole game from that point on <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->
I had a few thousand kills, was going good, but when I flung one guy I accidently hit "homepage" button at the top and lost it all <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->
for the Demo, you click on the figures at the top, near the health bar. then, you should see the same figure run out of your castle. Click on them to have them explode, which is also how you kill the big guys.
OMG H8X! H4X!
Levels completed: 10
Archers: 15
Wizards: 0
Wall strength: 2000 HP
Number of enemies who have hit my gate: 0
Expendable resource points: +37,000
Life is good.
Wirst: tired.
Right click then click play. Need new mouse because it turns off or locks sometimes.
Also is it a time you have to survive each round? Same time each round?
24200 kills
481000 wall HP
16 wizards, 40 workers, 280 archers
and a total score of 4880290
It pretty much plays itself from like lvl 30 on.
Game.

Thanks for posting it, old or not <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Yeah I had like 30 of the damn things on level 14, along with about 10 carpenters, then BOOM all gone. Died next round, now I need to restart because I don't have enough converts to get rid of the big guys before my castle dies. :S
Edit: Ah HA. It calculates your upkeep ability based on the points you carry over from the previous level. You need to leave enough to support all your units. Stupid.
(the wizards were only for the convert spell)
as of this posting, 5836 casualties
I think I'll let it run again.
