i modeled this in about 3-4 hours not sure realy its for a hl2 mod i think its one of the best models ive done to date im happy with everything about the model cept the polycount (2890) i think there are some inacuracies in it but not sure i think i did pretty good for only 1 ref image C&C is greatly apreciated but please dont comment about the polycount i know its high and i know i can get it down and ill probably be mapping this myself

i use default max renderer put a skylight on top aim it down put in a couple omni lights and turn on lighttracer as the light plugin then just render
wow that works great
not bad, only crit is the back of the handle... but it's modeled the way it's suposed to be, so <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> on that.

That's not to say you couldn't whip up one yourself. Just beacuse it doesn't have tac rails doesn't mean it's unmodifyable. You could have either of two types of LAMs on your gun (please note these aren't the real LAM name types):
1) Underside LAM. Basically this is where the LAM is in a box below the barrel.
2) Sidemount LAM. This type of LAM is attatched to the side of the barrel, usually over where your knuckles would be if you gripped the gun. It isn't contained in a single unit; that is to say the batterry for the LAM is located elsewhere on the gun and connected through wires.
