<div class="IPBDescription">a try at a sensible thread</div> I'm a follower of all the proffesinal gaming events, and any mod/games ultimate goal should involve becoming used in an official CPL tournament. Even great mods like DoD failed when they were chosen as a tournament (they coulnt get enough teams). I think flayara goin to to give a speech at the CPL will be great for NS, and hopefully some of the big gaming teams, will look at the possiblity of absorbing some of the best NS teams, and providing them with sponsership money.

I know that cri. are going, but is there any other clans planning on going? or any individuals going to the BYOC? IF so make sure you go around wearing an NS t-shirt telling everyone how great NS is <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' />

Alls I know is that exi signed up but decided it was too much cash to go down

Texas is such a bad place to hold it, really it should be on the east coast, like in Boston or New York, that is much more accomadating for the rest of the world to get to (lower ticket prices for the euros too)

oh sure, put it on the east coast so us west coasters have so much of an easier time getting there -_-;;;. us central is the best place for the CPL, since most attendees will be american. the euro teams will be going one way or another, putting it on the east coast wouldn't have made a difference.

well... i wish i could go, but i can't even drive yet. it doesn't look like it's gonna have such a big turnout though. 50/300? <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' />

I live in Texas, so I have no complaints. I go wherever I can, and I always have a blast. I got play Halo 2 multiplayer last time, and I can only imagine what will happen this year.

I noticed some guy playing NS at the CPL, but mostly the #1 mod (besides CS) being played was The Specialists.
