<div class="IPBDescription">anyone else here play?</div><a href='http://www.penny-arcade.com/images/2004/20040628l.jpg' target='_blank'>I</a> <a href='http://www.penny-arcade.com/images/2004/20040705l.jpg' target='_blank'>like</a> <a href='http://www.penny-arcade.com/images/2004/20040707l.jpg' target='_blank'>playing</a> <a href='http://www.penny-arcade.com/images/2004/20040709l.jpg' target='_blank'>golf</a>.

So I got to wondering, does anyone else enjoy this fine sport of hitting things with metal rods and driving insanely in an electrict cart of destruction?

I sure do suck at it though. Basically I tripple the Par and if I'm under that, its a good day. :P

I don't like it. My dad had me take some lessons once because I'm going to grow up to be a rich businessman and I'll need to play golf. <i>I</i> think by the time I've grown up poor people will live on golf courses. Go figure.

I was persuaded to try. They saw great potential in me, but I never pushed on, so.. Eh! <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Pfft. You got the wrong golf experience!

Don't go w/ a responsible person, and don't go to a fancy uptight place. That's the wrong golf experience my friend!

Go with your best friend to the cheapest, most run down course you can find. Nobody will care when you're peeling out on the course in the cart because, frankly, nobody will be able to tell the difference! Nobody will mind how much you suck and are at 10 swings on a par 3 because they're just as bad. After all, otherwise they wouldn't be on such a cheapass course!

The most important thing is to just have fun w/ it. Like when me and my friend play, we don't even keep score (too many big numbers to add up, and the little pencil loses all its lead)

I work at a hotel/golf club so I should really get into it. I get it for cheaper apparantly. This Friday I've got a free golf lesson so if I like that I'll probably start it. I've started fishing recently too.

Mini golf is obviously superior. But that might be because all the courses around here don't even give you carts. They make you walk, and there's only like 2 full sized courses anyways, and a few pitch and puts. There are, however, massive amounts of awesome mini golf courses, some of which have pirates.

I do actually play golf and i'm alright I suppose. It's a stupid stereotype that all golfers wear their trousers in their socks! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo--> I enjoy playing it, even if it raises my blood pressure when I play like a DOG. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> I often feel like breaking my clubs....

Yeah, I play golf, although I haven't touched a club in a while, but I'm going to take it back up when I'm done with school.

Let's play DOOM. You get a plane ticket and fly over here, and get the beers as well. I'll provide the tees. Hooray!
