Gorge And Resources

Lately I've heard some people say that the khaara's resources is divided among the gorges and the more gorges you have the slower they will get resources. I just wonder, is this true or just some stupid rumor going around?     Each kharaa has his own personal stash of resources but they get resources from all the the capture resource nozels and you get as much as it can dish out.

    My understanding from Flayra's last post about resources was that Gorgs get 3x the resources other kharaa are getting. So if there are two skulks and one gorge, the kharaa resouce intake is divided into 1+1+3=5 shares. the gorg will get 60% of the resource income and each skulk gets 20%. If there were two gorgs you'd divide your resources 1+3+3=7 shares, now each gorg is only getting 43% of the teams intake. So it is true that if you're a Gorge, and other people getstate into Gorgs, your share of resources will go down.

    This really needs to be clarified for strategy creation.

    I'm not really sure how the damn resource intake works... some peopel think everyone gets the same **obscenity**, others think not.

    Flayra thinks that not all aliens get the same resources. That's good enough for me.

    Just keep this in mind: More Gorges = Less Resources per Gorge = Longer time to get 2nd Hive = Dead Kharaa.

    The marines only have one Commander, you can make due with only one (possibly 2) Gorges.

    I think you should keep around 50% of the team's resources going to builders, so at 6 or 7 people on the team it would be sensible to go to 2 gorges
