<div class="IPBDescription">2nd try at it =D</div> Here's my second attempt at Cloud's Sig. Weapon from FF7. instead of using some real life weapon of it. I'm not gonna messing around with the first one. Sorry for wasting your <people who helped> time.
The poly count is 667, much lower then my last one.
C & C appreciated. If something looks weird plz reply so i can fix it before releasing it the 3ds file.

Thats what i do anyway, with that DS9 model i was doing, i did it about 8 times to make sure i got everything nice and tidy, i even got the damn polycount down by loads <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Do you mean the tip of the blade being a different smoothing group?
heh, i just finished the smoothing groups. does it still look weird.

here you go it was a vertex that needed to be moved a bit i got it fixed but the exporting of .3ds means your going to have to resmooth it
However, you did a good job modeling it and it looks like the a buster sword. I would use it if it wasn't the weapon of choice of a such a cross-dressing, snowboarding, weak, screwed-up, spikey-haired, multiple personality, confused, and ugly character.

Also if anyone is interested in adding custum animations give a reply or pm me, if not i guess i could always use defaults.

wow you just ps'd off a buncha people. Final Fantasy 7 is one of if not the best game ever. Cloud is one of if not the best characters ever. Granted his buster sword isnt the best, it looks like it is.
Gj so far btw zwing.
milkshape exporter was messing up the models, but lithunwrap exporter for 3ds works fine.
I fixed some vert problems on both of the models.

If you think Final Fantasy 7 is the best game ever made, I feel sorry for you. And if you think freaking Cloud is the best character ever, I also feel embarrassed for you. Seriously. Let me guess... Final Fantasy 7 was the first RPG you ever played, and you have never played any others unless they are Final Fantasys?

fine i'll agree with you on SMRPG, and zelda. But nevertheless i still have ff7 rated high on my list.
And i'm not a total FF7 nut (despite my cloud from advent children avitar) like for istanace i dont like the fact that it was released incomplete, thought it was probably for the best (aeris didnt need to come back to life anyway).

Jin Roh is the best. In fact, Jin Roh + Equilibrium > Everything else in the universe.
*edit* So this isnt spam, i'll contribute. Very good model, Cloud owns, FF7 is the best Final Fantasy, and by far one of the best RPGs, great story. But the best in my book would have to be...a tie between FF7, Legend of Dragoon, and Knights of the Old Republic.
Let chronos do it, im having a hard time atm with Wrk xp...
