<div class="IPBDescription">id like to make maps for ns</div> I've been looking for a program to make maps for ns ( perferably ns v2.0 ) but i cant find any where to get a program. Im good at some map making for a few games like mohaa/mohaash/mohaabt ( MOH = Medal Of Honar AA = Alliead assoult).

    i use worldcraft/valve hammer (same thing, different names)
    there are others, but i dont know what they are

    The <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=61923' target='_blank'>NS Mapping Forum FAQ</a> should get you started.

    The things I reccommend getting:
    - the NS version you are mapping for, to run, test, and set up options.
    - Worldcraft/Valve Hammer 3.4, to actually build the maps.
    - Worldcraft/Valve Hammer 3.5 beta patch, has a few extra features.
    - Zoner's Half-life tools (I reccommend ZHLT 2.5.3 Custom 1.7, P series. the P series is maintained by XP-Cagey), these compile your maps into .bsp's from the Hammer .rmf files.
    - Nem's Batch Compiler, a good tool that makes it easier to use the compilers.

    And... that should cover the basics. I'm fairly sure that links to all of those can be found in the FAQ.

    Thanks you guys, im hoping that i get some good maps with even advantages unlike siege007 ( 1 way to maries and 1 way to aliens stink )

    as soon as i know how to use the program, ill have another post up asking about what stuff every one likes and dont like on a map so thanks again
