Why Alien Turrets Dont Suck!

<div class="IPBDescription">Me getting my azz kik'd by them</div> So, alien turrets suck eh? they can't beat human turrets eh?
Well, I just got out of a game, where there were 4 alien players, and 2 mariens, one the command and the other, me.
We had built up our defence, and had a total of about 9 turrets. Well the aliens had a little suprise for us, the elevator on the rigt side of our base (if u face the commander, i dont remeber the map name) came up, and on it were 8 or so alien turrets. I managed to take out 2 of them after about 5 mins, and they sat there, pounding away at our defence of turrets. well, They won, and only two of them were destroyed. All you have to do is talk to each other aliens, plan plan plan, it works.

    I though I heard something, but when I looked there was nothing there, so I ignored the sound from then on, also the server had no footsteps, so I couldent hear them walking.

    Well anyway, turrets are kinda equal against each other, it's not an uncommon Khaara strategy to build turrets in front of Human turrets, and heal them as they fire away while building more turrets. That's probably IT!

    I've taken out a HALLWAY full of turrets pack closer together than Mexicans in a truck carrying furniture, trying to cross the border, with a few grenade rounds.

    The Alien turrets are marred by one thing. One projectile is fired. The Marine turrets fire a stream, not all will hit a moving target but SOME. If you dodge a Kharaa turrets blast then you aren't damaged at all.

    Then you have a semi-problem. However I found with an HMG, LMG(albiet slower) or, hell, even a pistol, you can strafe back and forth and just rape the turrets. Takes time though.

    best weapons Vs the offy towers is the shotgun at close range , i ran round and round two towers just letting off the shoty and it only takes about 5 shots too take one out.

    btw any1 noticed that the shotgun its probaly the best vs the lower evolver aliens but no-one drops them at the start when we have a fair bit of resorses.

    O towers when setup right and backed by D towers are almost unkillable.. throw in some support and without seige cannnons they wont be able to take you down.
