Halo Models?

I remember someone releasing a pack with a bunch of HALO models ripped straight from the game. When I searched for it I had no luck, so I'm assuming that it was taken down for legal issues. If the person who ripped the models sent me a working link, I would like to convert those models for myself, and myself only (assuming otherwise would be breaking the IP law). Thanks.

    AFAIK its perfectly okay, since the Master Chief, shotgun and AR are already floating around out there converted.     Alright, thanks guys. I was actually planning to convert some to TS, but when I'm bored I'll get around to converting a few models to NS.

    EDIT: Now I just need to find an MS3D compatible .3ds importer and I'll be all set.

    This time around I've got a new problem, but if everything goes as planned this should be the last one. When the model is imported, and I import the proper skin, the mesh is all screwed up. Does anyone know of a remedy to this?

    now you know why most people didnt want to convert methinks.

    The only way to get the right UV Maps is to rip the model from the XBOX version.
