<div class="IPBDescription">I CANT SEE A THING!</div> Hey Guys...
My problem is that my gamma is all messed up...Even when i have it maxed along with brightness everything is still dark. I use my video card settiings to increase the gamma for Full Screen 3D but NS overrides it and makes it Dark again...along with my PowerStrip program that has its own gamma settings it still gets overriden...anyone have any idea on what I can do to not be running around in the dark?
Here is my DxDiag if anyone wants to take a gander:

Comments
1. Right click desktop
2. Properties
3. Settings
4. Advanced
5. Colour
6. Full Screen 3D.
Now fire up NS. Once it has loaded minimise it drag the gamma bar on the Full Screen 3D bit up to about half way then click apply. Open NS again and it should be bright. Be warned, every time you go to the console the gamma resets. What you do is go to the Full Screen 3D thing again (would be better to just leave it open all the time while you play NS) and move the gamma bar a little to the left or right and click apply again. The gamma should be fine again.
This is on the 4.5 Omega ATI drivers, I don't know if that would work with the Catalysts.

If you can't alt-tab then try leaving another window besides NS open so you have something to tab to.
I have the same problem, but just setting my powerstrip brightness high, starting the game, tabbing out and back in, then waiting about 30 seconds until it pops works for me.
Good luck! <!--emo&::tsa::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tsa.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tsa.gif' /><!--endemo-->
*EDIT* To fix your flickering slow graphics problem, you may have to rather than alt-tabbing back into NS from the desktop instead click the NS button on your windows task bar to restore the game to full screen. If my ideas above do not work to fix the brightness then you should try clicking the button rather than alt-tabbing, even with no flickering slow graphics, sometimes that works when alt-tabbing won't. *EDIT*
*ANOTHER EDIT* You could also try what BigMadSteve suggested but instead of alt-tabbing click on the taskbar like I pointed out, that might fix the graphical problem. *ANOTHER EDIT*
