<div class="IPBDescription">so im ordering this computer....</div> SO while ordering a computer... i decide to order through this company (ill withhold the name so its not an advertizment)
and i fill out their online order i click check... it says "thank you for ordering"
im puzzled cus it never asks me to fill out an e-check or anything like that
so i find out they called my house, and i call em back.... (more time outta my day)
then after waiting on hold.... i find out from "elly" that...
"Oh we dont accept e checks..."
"Yeah i dont give my money to stupid people"
...
they actuly expect me to pay with a credit card when theres like umpteeen million other ways to transfer money...

Seriously, checks are a relic of the past.

i have one...
they can just bill that ?
lol ok
stupid question:
it says expires 05/05
(and apparently i have 2 of em)
that expires 05/03 .... no years... Lol i dont even know if this is still valid...
should i just give them the number and let the computer comp. sort it out <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
what can i say i allways pay with cash -.-
How is that *any* different from them having all the numbers at the bottom of a check?
Granted that I haven't done the research, but I heard that checks are far less secure than credit cards.
exactly why i was disguested with them.
SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOON
GUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARD
And on the other side, you can't blame a legitimate business for not accepting crap like e-checks or paypal. They're a business, not some auction site. (Unless above paragraph is false, in which case they are probably just a scammer). I gurantee you Dell or Buy.com don't accept Paypal as a form of payment.
Having worked at a bank I can testify that as easy as it is to screw someone over with credit cards, its even easier to do it with checks.
The bottom line is, when it comes to your financial security: Automated machine doing electronic transaction > minimum wage human being
(and apparently i have 2 of em)
that expires 05/03 .... no years... Lol i dont even know if this is still valid... <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd-->
That means that they expire in May 2003 and May 2005 respectively. Therefore, the latter is still valid. It's not years that's missing, it's days.
