    I have NOT made these myself!
    I have used Jed's Half-Life Model Viewer 1.1 to get a screenshot of these, and use Paint and Paint Shop Pro 7 to resize/change them, so meh, it was fairly easy to do, and if anyone else wants to do something with it, he can do WHATEVER he wants.

    It's pretty damn hard to get rid of <i>all</i> the white, just look at the help, search, members, and calendar buttons at the top

    You could use the forum background color RGB (4 30 45) as backgroundcolor in the modelviewer. However, if the forum admins are going to change the background color the images won't work
    Using the OC as example this is what it would look like:

    They are nice, but the fact that they are just scaled down screenshots makes them not match. Most of the current NS 'smilies' look like they are either done by hand or majorly touched up screenshots, and if you look closely they all have a 1-pixel black border around them, use that to fix you ugly edge problem <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    True but mine was just an example to counter the white line arround it and use the blue background color of the forum as background, guess I forgot that quote background is greyish.

    Actually, I already did that, but Paint Shop Pro 7 has some problems with the colors that are ALMOST white.

    Maybe use a colour closer to the forum background instead of black? Make it slightly darker maybe and it wouldn't be that noticable for either the forum or quote backgrounds.

    And thats because some of the whiter pixels are ALMOST against the black border.

    I can still see the white lines. :b

    I'd suggest saving them in .PNG format and setting an alpha-channel. That way they'll properly blend with the background (on any browser with a clue, that is).

    That or simply drawing them from scratch. :b
