How Do Change Map Time?

Hi, my map time on the Co_ maps is always 10 minutes if attacking or defending, how do I change this?

    As far as I know this has to do with your mp_timelimit setting.

    A NS server variables list can be found <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=8&t=7509' target='_blank'>here</a>.

    Don't know how the co_ and ns_ differences work though, I'm not a server operator. Hope it helps.

    The cvar "mp_combattime X" will end a combat match regardles of mp_timelimit.
    This being said, if you want the map to change at the end of the match set them both the same, if not adjust them accordingly.

    e.g. mp_combattime 15 and mp_timelimit 30 would end the match at 15 minutes and replay the same map again.

    Hi, I have edited "mp_combattime x" but the "mp_timelimit x" doesn't appear in the server.cfg, can I just add it?

    Hi, I have now got the map to run for 20 minutes (Co_x maps), but it doesn't go to the next in the ap cycle just starts a fresh map, how can I change this?


    This is what I have:

    mp_combattime 20
    mp_timelimit 20

    Sorry that was not clear. What I meant to say was when we finish a map it will not go onto the next map which is in the mapcyle.txt file, it will simply start the same map again. How can I just get the map to play once and go to the next?

    Try this instead:
    mp_combattime 20
    mp_timelimit 15

    mp_timelimit 1 would probably work better if you NEVER want to play the same map 2x, but that will really hinder server population since if one quick rush destroys the hive/cc (which typically happens on my server after intial map load due to not all players being loaded when round startss) the other team won't get a chance to retaliate.

    I keep a combat time of 30 minutes on our combat server and it seems to work pretty well. mp_timelimit is set to 15 in case of rush victories, though I've been considering nerfing that to 10 minutes.
