<div class="IPBDescription">solid play can win it</div> Just for the record, commanded a win on eclipse earlier in a 5v5 match. (that was actually 6aliens v 4 marines for 45 mins of it) I didn't put more than three turrets around any factory and only gave my boys one glauncher at a time,and we still one. (I did use forward siege turret positions, but, well it's a siege weapon, a siege is an attack. It was only defended by 3 sentrys) Of course you can't really see if the aliens are using competant tactics from inside the command console, but just thought I'd say. Marines don't need to rely on spam to win. It was amazing what we could get done with 3 skilled guys who listened to me.

    I bet they were still in HA and had HMG tho. Ive been one of those 3 before and taken down 2 hives with the commander backing us up/telling us to go without turrets

    I dont mind anything the marines have except the GL is too over powered.. fires wayyy too fast. and that siege turret...pfft, it's stupid IMO but I guess it's a part of the game.. as long as the next patch they weaken the marine turrets or strenthen alien turrets it'll be fine.
