Help With Installation Plez

<div class="IPBDescription">i can't install the beta 4a version</div> I've tried to download the file for the beta 4a version of combat, but i don't know where to put the file. and when i double click on the file i just downloaded it's just a dos screen and it says the program did something illegal and it has to shut down.     if uh ave steam put it in C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\(ur email)\Halflife(shoudl alrdy be there)\NSP... i had this happen 2 me before, u could just put it in the Halflife folder it will send it 2 NSP automatically... hope this helps.. oh i almost forgot... if it says the NSP folder alrdy exists just say continue anyways or replace or whatever, cuz if u dont it will send the stuff 2 \halflife\nsp\halflife and it wont work then

    Make sure you have all other patches installed first.

    ns3b1 should go into .../steam/steamapps/youremail/half-life

    It will create an "nsp" folder.

    ns3b4 and bs3b4a should go into .../steam/steamapps/youremail/half-life/nsp


    If you end up with any other paths it will not work!
