<div class="IPBDescription">but its AGP :(</div> Hey guys,

I have a Geforce 4 Ti4200 128mb AGPx8 card, and fter recently installing Homeworld2, i was informed on starting the game that it is running in PCI mode.

I've been through all of my display menus, and updated the drivers to the latest, but i cant figure out for the life of me how the hell to get it into AGP mode.

I'm running Windows XP Pro, with the latest (or atleast so the nvidia site says) drivers, 56.72.

Anyone got any ideas?

    It could be that Windows is just incorrect, if it's plugged into the right slot then I can't see anything else you can do. I'm not even sure they make GF4 Ti as a PCI card...

    As long as it works it doesn't matter what Windows thinks <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Update your mobo drivers, check the BIOS. Some have an option to force the AGP slot to operate in PCI mode (as AGP is just PCI on steroids, for the most part). Maybe get a better video card while you're at it. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    If your mobo uses the VIA chipset you can try installing VIA Hyperion.
