Graphic Glitch
Off Topic - Hey all...I don't post much, however I regularly read this forum and get a lots of customisation from here.
Big Thanks to all the people who put in their time and effort for the community!

On Topic - I've been using the StarCraft Marine for as long as I can remember as it's my absolute favourite, so thanks to those that have made this a great model!
(Thanks CaptainPanaka! ...Sorry don't remember who the creator or other editors are of it. I need the README file.)

Otherwise I've been using the new version of the model, and since using it I've noticed an error with their faces, and have since been a little annoying to look at in the game. I also noticed that this didn't happen with the previous version of the model.

If someone could tell me what is wrong with it, or how to go about fixing it than I would be most thankful. I believe this to be a problem with my settings as I haven't seen anyone else comment about it.
Otherwise I know little about the console commands in reference to graphics and textures, but I've made sure to set the gl_max_size to 512 ...But still to no avail.

Here is a picture to show what my problem is:

this is a transparency bug. If you have Jed's HLMV you will be able to fix this

It basicly is. Sometimes the additive transparency removes the smoothing group makeing it flat shaded. Its very anoying and happens most of the time when two additive textures are on top of each other.

    hm... the strange thing is:

yep it's a problem with transparency. But... I don't have this error on this model... but I got it on several other models, that I was working on...

Is there a way to fix that, please tell me.

Out of Daza's post I think you compile it without transparency, and then set the additive flags later on in HLMV. I am trying this now.

Open it up in jeds hlmv and remove transparency from the visor. Quick and easy fix.
