<div class="IPBDescription">Is there a place where I can get them?</div> I didnt search for a topic like this because I need to get back to playing but, I was wondering if I could have the maps or if there was allready a link to the maps that didnt make it into ns v1? The complete and playable ones that is.

    From what I'd read, I was under the impression that the maps that were started but didn't make it into NSv1 were rejected <i>because</i> they were incomplete and unplayable. I.E. the mapper got about 1/3 of the way done and ran out of info_nodes or exceeded max_planes or something. So rather than painstakingly reduce the detail of the entire map to make it longer, they just scrapped the project and started over.

    I could be wrong, of course.

    Yes. The maps that were rejected, were rejected because they weren't complete, or because they had bugs that caused problems with things like building placement or unit selection. And it would be up to the individual mappers if they want to release their maps, though I doubt any of them will for at least a long while.

    mmm. and us rejected v1 mappers when can we send the now complete maps for the dev team to test?? will there be another mapping deadline or can we just send them to Flayra or MonsE??

    Freestyler and I are currently laying last hand on NS_Eniant, the first not-by-Flayra NS map there was, which got rejected due to some visual issues we hope we could get rid of.

    It's by no means gonna be as great as Hera, Bast, Nothing, or Eclipse, but I hope people will enjoy it.

    What about the map N@rby made? NS_ROMANA ? Was it completed/playable?
    If so.... where can we download it?
    Narb's made some good maps in his time (mainly for Counter-Strike but according to his website dod_paris is in the works) and i'd like to give this a try.

    Romana (actually N@rbys second NS map) had some serious bugs that kept it from becoming official, but aside from that was totally playable.

    I don't know whether he'll fix it or not - if, Romana is still my favorite guess for the additional map in v1.1.

    Yeah I saw the video on his site (with the weird background music) but I think he scrapped Freon for Romana.
