<div class="IPBDescription">An old old old model.....</div> Well some of you may remember a few months ago BrigadierWolf posting the attached concept. I modelled it over the space of a few days and it's just kinda been taking up space on my HDD since then. So tonight, while i should've been sleeping (It's 4:54am), i started work on an entirely new mesh and skin since i was far from happy from the previous ones.
Here's my progress on the first of the skinmeshes. This mesh isn't actually complete, i'll squeeze in the iron sights, hammer and such into this mesh later on.

Anyway, attached is Brig's original concept. I've worked exactly to the concept, and it's not my concept to tinker with or change, so don't complain about stuff. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
*EDIT: I have no idea where "742" came from, nor any idea why i put it on the skin. Gah, guess that's what i get for skinning at 5am. <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Applied to the mesh. That's the top parts of the gun pretty much done. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
haven't seen that concept for a long time... and didn't even expect it being done <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Yeah, it's been cluttering up space on my HDD for a while. I'm not a very good skinmesher, and i've never actually skinmeshed a gun before, it was grating on my nerves quite a bit. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Btw, what's the PC on the model?
Are you using any custom Brushes ?
Mind telling us what filters you used if you did ? <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
rawr... think I got my new HG replacement model when it's finished <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

No custom brushes or filters, all done using the default tools. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
EDIT: I just made a massive schoolboy error and forgot to save the mesh. I remeshed a hell of a lot of things, and just wasted about 2 hours worth of work, which sucks. But i've got the first mesh complete now, however. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Ignore the skull and writing in the lower right of the pic, that's just there as a watermark to say it's mine, it's not going to be in any way visible when the gun's complete.
Slowly, but surely, it's getting there.
*EDIT: Gah, that grey stripy bit in the ejection port is supposed to be spheremapped. Bah. It will be in the end. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
