I have decided to end my ns career after loosing interesting in the competitive scene. I have met a lot of great people through this game and learned a lot, i thank you all who contributed to that in anyway.     I'm not really surprised, I've rolled the idea of quitting NS around in my head for a long time. Its got to the point where each build is less fun, directed at god knows what, but it isn't fun. 90% of the ideas I've seen suggested get ignored and I understand flayra is busy with making a game company but it sure seems as if NS was just a big demo presentation to comming attractions. Like we were tools to be used in a big experiment. Sadly I used to enjoy the game and understand where silver is comming from.     Yeah my clan just folded due to lack of interest (CAL matches are saturday night, gg). I am currently the leader for the aliens for www.battleforthegalaxy.com after that is done I don't know what I want to do with NS, maybe a new version will be out, maybe it won't. Maybe the ATI tournament will actually be held. (jokes). Maybe the dev team will start listening to people who know how to play the game, most likely not.

    Its ironic that a game that is so based on "teamwork" is geared towards pubs, which are known for its lack of organization, communication, and determination, and NS at the competitive level which is a hell of a lot more organized, gets ignored, or even better called "Elitist".

    I know Cloud King just quit today, and I don't think CAL will see another good season after this one.

    I can't blame you for getting out Silverwolf, as soon as BFG is done, I am most likely going to be done.

    anyone who loves scripting will LOVE tribes...i played that game for years and it is ridiculously fun but without competent scripts (most of which are downloadable) you will get destroyed.

    Tribes scripts were more like plugin programs. :o But yeah, the people that popped a nut over a jumpscript would explode with rage at turret-busting nade scripts and minedisc scripts.

    Well the only reason I came back last time was because I was in a cal-o cs team and I carried them, which is something I hate doing for any clan.     Anyways you were woundering about tracers... Forlorn isn't the only one who understands half life variables....

    tracerred - setting this to 0 turns off the color red for your tracer, setting it to 1 turns it on.

    tracerblue - same as above

    tracergreen - same as above (you can mix these as you see fit aka you cant turn them all on if you want or just one..)

    traceroffset - the lower the value the larger the tracer becomes.
