I will only link to the screenshot of me having it, because its outrageously big <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> (poor 56k users)

Basically its one whole terrabyte of free email. Beats GMail in memory, but the @GMail.com looks nicer <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

That's right, a 1 TB email account.

I stumbled upon this little gem today and with permission of the webmaster I am letting all my fellow Neowinians know about it now.

It's a 1 TB email account, I don't know of any file size limits, or what software they are using to serve. I don't think it's Hivemail. The site runs pretty good, they have a user forum also. They offer oh, about 30 or so subdomains (all offshoots of youvegotpost) and ...it's 1 TB!!!
<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

EDIT: <a href='http://youvegotpost.com' target='_blank'>http://youvegotpost.com</a> is the site <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Bah. I'd only want 1 TB of email if I could install half-life in it and succesfuly host NS games. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    and that would still leave me 999.5 gigabytes for worthless crap. <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    You need to already have an email address to register(kind nullifies the point tbh)

    And i can't stand that voice that says 'You've got post'

    i signed up anyway <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    There <b>has</b> to be a catch. If you actually manage to use 1 TB, they're going to kick you off or delete your email or something. No company can afford THAT much space for users and still run a profitable business. I wouldn't be surprised if you they told you to clear you inbox out at 500 MB to 1 GB.

    "Unlimited Bandwidth" never means unlimited, so it's probably the same for this.

    Just because they're offering 1TB per user, it doesn't mean they have enough space to give each user the full amount. They're banking on the fact that most people will only use up a few megabytes - the 1TB is just a marketing gimmic.

    Im to lazy to look through the stuff, but make sure you read the terms and agreements, the last time I saw a really nice deal like this, was a free webspace provider with all sorts of nice benefits, but hidden in their Terms was that anything you uploaded became theirs and they instantly owned the rights to it... So just keep your eyes open.

    Doesn't "Banking on" imply that there's some money to be made?

    What exactly is the point? I'm happy with 30 megs from my ISP.

    It's almost true though - if everyone used their 1TB, they'd have to spend a lot of money on storage, as previous posters have pointed out.

    It's obviously a cult, it's easier to maintain the mailing list when all of the members are directly connected.

    Hey look, I signed up and got an invitation to a kool-aid party. No cover charge as long as I'm wearing Nike shoes!

    I see only one, and its from the company yourself, its at the bottom, doesnt flash at all, simply asks you to sign up for their dial up. it doesnt really bother much, because its at the bottom of the page.
