I Cant Load Any Servers

<div class="IPBDescription">Everytime I try to update nothing happen</div> Can anyone help me out. I've been trying to play natural selection this whole weekend but it doesn't work for some reason. If I try to do a quickstart all it does is retrying till it give up. Then if I go to internet game and try to update nothing happens. All it says is finished and transferring file from some ip at bottom. Can anyone help me out?? Thanks.

    I went to halflife and then went to custom game and then activate and it still didnt work. It does this for the other games too like team fortress. Anyone know how to fix this? I got a router and I have afirewall from my virus proctector and when I took the firewall off it still didn't make a difference.

    I somehow got it so it updates but now it wont connect to any game. It does it four times and then it stops. Anyone know a way to fix this? Also does anyone know if I need to open ports for my router. If so which ports?

    If you're router is set up not to allow the ports for the master through (don't ask me what they are, cause i don't know :P) then that'd be why you can't refresh them. It sounds like this is NOT an NS related issue, so perhaps you may find answers searching elsewhere if nobody posts a good solution here. Also try the Sierra tech support, they may actually know the answer...

    Sounds a lot like a Filtering problem
    make sure the following are true in the filter options

    [X] are responding
    [ ] are responding more quickly than - especially this one!
    [x] are running game - ns

    In the problem you discribed in the first posts, it means there are no servers with your current filters.


    With the not connecting, do other games work? Also have you tried getting the IP from the browswer and connecitng through the console?
