Update: My Band

So my band has members (w00t) a name (Same Old Scar) and a website now!

Just wanted to update everyone, there is one song on there and it isn't even complete but you can hopefully get a small feel for us. I'm singing BTW. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' />

Oh and here's our logo... made it meself, lol.

The guitaring sounds somehwat detached from your vocals and it also sounds hurried for want of a better word.
Bit more emo than my usual listening pleasures but otherwise very nice demo.

Don't think it's meant to be a final cut. Would be fine if it were live. I like the vocals, and any problems with the rhythm (of both) can be forgiven by the fact that it's a little weird like guitar is doing 8th/8th/dotted16th/dotted16th or something and the fact that their drummer and bassist are absent. GJ post or bump when you have more songs.

Yeah, we're hoping to work the local band scene, work up some experience and get some performances under our belts, then we're gonna send out demos and possibly work L.A.

The good: singing was pretty decent.
The bad: no drums or bass?
The ugly: guitar sounded pretty messy

But then again, it's not a complete song, so it would be unfair to rate it yet.

Hey, if you want I could pass out demos for you as well. (I live in Arlington, TX, literally right between Forth Worth and Dallas. 30mins. travel to two of Texas's largest cities.)

Anyway I noticed something someone said earlier and I agree. You guys should get some sort of bass instrument like drums (not that it has to be, you could be original and think up some other instrument to keep the beat). I knew there was something missing. Still great stuff though, don't get me wrong.

Anyway like I said earlier, good luck with the band Dark.
