Windows Activation?

Okay, wth
Okay, you all probably know what windows activation is, that thing that keeps popping up telling you to activate windows in "x" days. Well I guess I made a bad choice by ignoring it all this time. I only ignored it because, each time I tried to activate it, the window would pop up and tell me windows has already been activated. So I just went "meh" and figured when the days ran down to 0 It might be able to fix itself... No such luck. It ran out today and now it won't let me logon on until my windows is activated, which as I said before, when I click yes to "would you like to activate now?" it just continues to tell me windows is already activated then goes back to the login screen, and repeat. So now I'm completely locked out of my computer, and with no idea what I'm supposed to do .

Help?

If you've already activated Windows before, you have to call the number it gives you and tell them your activation code.

Phone Microsoft. They actually do help. They helped me through my last pain-in-the-arse activation where i was having annoying troubles.

Yeah, too many activations and it's time to give Microsoft a call. They'll straighten everything out, unless you hesitate on the phone call. Then they'll sic the FBI HRT on you, for you are a dirty software pirate.

That happened to me when I reinstalled Windows, but I found ways of "persuading" it that I was a legit user (which I am).

You mean XP Home or XP Professional? Because that's the only version of Windows I know that requires activation.

Ah, I've never used XP. Only Windows 2000 and ME (I really didn't like ME)
