<div class="IPBDescription">Monochrome art!</div> Post your best monochrome (black and white) art here <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Here's a logo, inspired by the TSA logo, that I did, without any real purpose... Would make a nice spraypaint or clan/group logo though I think =)

(Done in Photoshop 7, about 1-2 hours [I rarely time my work] with a Wacom Intuos2 9x12 as tools)

    Felt like making another one, after stumbling through a Shadow sprite and having the Shadow theme play at the same time <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif' /><!--endemo--> (This is Shadow from Final Fantasy VI, supposed to be, anyway...)

    Again, Photoshop 7, Wacom Intuos2 9x12, Black and White, exactly 2h05m completion time :] Had to shring it down by about 33% in order to not overflow the forum format by too much and to match the file size limit.

    And to say I could be drawing these in MSPaint! <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Sorry, by monochrome I really meant only 0-0-0 black and 255-255-255 white pixels <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    hmm how did you do that
    i mean which techics... did you drew the outline, then colored the inner part black, then used eraser? (looks like that <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo--> )

    well probably not but it looks very symetrical, i cant imagine you drew it freehand <!--emo&::nerdy::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/nerd.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='nerd.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Does not your own postings violate this, then?

    Not trying to start any fights or anything, but what you've posted yourself doesn't really adhere to it.

    In what ways does it not? It was done using only the Pencil tool drawing black and white pixels and lines :O If there are any shades of gray, it was due to the resizing of the image <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Then shouldn't you have resized it without antialiasing, or perhaps just turned the whole image into a 2 color image? Hmm?

    And anyway, monochrome is not necessarily black and white. I was planning on doing variations of blue. Even when it is just on the black/white scale, it includes whatever shades of gray lie in between the two. Just call it "black and white drawings" and leave it at that.

    For the most part it was freehand, except the shield I believe which and the sword pommel which I mirrored to save time since I planned to make them look symmetrical anyway. The way I did them was by drawing black lines and erasing/correcting them until I got the precise shading I wanted.

    Yeah you're right.. Which is why I came later saying "by monochrome I meant [...]", but then again I'd like seeing any art that follows closely or loosely those guidelines. Just post your art if it's pixel art, line art, grey shades, blue tones, whatever you want as long as it's not airbrushing or heavy antialised <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Double swords would be sweet, but not as assschweeeeet as double axes of ownij! You've probably not spent as much time working on those, and practicing the actual skill, and most likely don't have a Wacom like I do... Which probably explains why they're "not as great", but at least you both 1) tried and 2) followed the original guidelines <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
