Downloading Location?

<div class="IPBDescription">downloading location???????</div> well i have tried several times to download ns onto my computer and nothing has worked i got them downloaded on but when i installed them they never showed up on my games third party list... i need to know where the files should be downloaded to like the specific location EX.)c.folder/valve/emailadress/hl etc...
please can someone tell me step by step how to download these natural selection folder....

NS is third party untill 3.0 final releases...

I'm pretty sure to enable NS to come up on the 3rd party list you have to run Half-Life Steam first? Not 100% sure though.

before installing make sure half-life is run at least once,

the directory that the files should be in is

steam\steamapps\e-mail addy\half-life\nsp

wait im not completly clear on how to get the ns onto steam third party list... is it by installing it to what folder to get it going into the third party list?<img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' />

close steam,
and install it into:
steam\steamApps\your@email.com\nsp
The path should be there when u run the installation <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' />
install it and after this installation, install beta4b

All third party games(mods not incorporated with valve) go into the Halflife folder.

ok i got ns into the third party but i am still stuck on getting the patches to freaking work <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif' /> i have tried mulitiple times to put into the nsp folder ,halflife folder,everything i can think of... i just can seem to get it to work,and i am pretty sure i am following the instructions correctly.what am i to do... i am starting to get frusturated on this game but i really want it!!!! please someone tell me step by step how to download the patches so i can play ns... <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/asrifle.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='asrifle.gif' /> <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/pudgy.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='pudgy.gif' />

Make sure you have a HL folder

Install NS into the HL folder so it will look like this

When installing NS, Install the

This is the full install.

Then get all the other patches

ns_v30_b3_patch.exe
ns_v30_b4_patch.exe

Install each one, one by one

It will ask you to put it into your NS folder

lol forget it, u don't need the beta2 patch!
Install ns_install_v3_b1.exe then
ns_v30_b4_patch.exe
ns_v30_b4a_patch.exe
in this row!

ok i deleted it all and started over. i downloaded the v3 b1 mirrior to valve/steam/steamapps/email/halflife. now where do i install the patches to.

the same directory.
and all coming patches in this one =)
